Funding from the Dermatology Foundation was critical to me at the beginning of my career.  It's important to me that other young dermatologists have the same opportunities, so I have made a goal of raising $10,000 to fund next year's research awards. While the DF is important to researchers like myself, donations actually benefit all dermatologists. Scientific advances from DF funded research have improved our understanding of skin diseases and lead to the development of novel therapies that benefit all dermatologists and patients.
